RenderCore Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026. Applies to RenderCore for Windows, version 1.2.1 and later. Published by Nebado Labs.

In short

1. Who we are

RenderCore is made by Nebado Labs, an independent software developer (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@nebado.com.

2. Your files stay on your computer

RenderCore renders videos locally with FFmpeg. The media files you select, the videos you create, their names and folder locations are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

3. Anonymous usage statistics

To understand how many people use RenderCore and which features matter, the app sends a small message to app.nebado.com in these situations:

WhenWhat is sent
First launch after installation“install” event
App opened (at most once per day)“open” event
A video finishes rendering“render” event, horizontal or vertical format, and the length range (for example “1–3 hours”)
A license is activated“activate” event and the store type (for example “etsy”)

Every message also includes the RenderCore version, whether the app is in trial or full mode, and a random installation ID. This ID is generated on your computer, is not derived from your hardware, and cannot be linked to your name, email or license.

What is never sent in usage statistics

Country

When a message arrives, our server uses your IP address once to look up the country through the geolocation service ip-api.com. Only the country name is stored; the IP address is not stored with usage statistics.

How to turn it off

On first launch RenderCore shows a notice where you can choose Turn off. You can change this at any time with the “Anonymous usage statistics: On/Off” switch at the bottom-left of the app window. When it is off, no usage messages are sent at all. If your computer is offline, nothing is sent and the app keeps working normally.

4. License activation

RenderCore can be used as a free trial without any registration. If you buy a license and activate it, the app connects to activate.nebado.com and sends:

To verify the purchase, our server may query the store where you bought it (for example Etsy). From that store we receive and keep the order reference, the purchased product and, where the store provides it, the buyer's email address. We use this only to verify, manage and support your license (for example, to move it to a new computer).

While a license is active, RenderCore may check its status with our server about once a week when an internet connection is available. This check sends only the signed license file issued at activation.

5. Download and short links

Links on our pages and social profiles (for example app.nebado.com/getrendercore) count clicks so we can see which channels people come from. For each click our server records the date and time, the link, the referring website, the browser’s user-agent, an approximate country and city, and the IP address. These records are used only for statistics and abuse protection.

6. Legal basis (EEA/UK users)

7. Who processes data

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

8. How long we keep data

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to contact@nebado.com. Because usage statistics are anonymous, we may not be able to identify which records belong to you; if you share the random installation ID from the file telemetry.json in RenderCore’s settings folder, we will delete its records.

10. Children

RenderCore is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
